2010 Recycle Events

A recycle event was held by Earthagain at 1Utama Shopping Center
from 02, July to 04 to July 2010 (Friday to Sunday)

 

This is an GoGreen event to encourage public on recycle practice by collecting and exchange their old “Book, Newspaper, Magazine” with green plants, fertilizer, recycle bag, mural colour, environ power battery charger and some old & new book.In our efforts to promote greener living lifestyle, SJH Nursery & Landscaping Sdn Bhd had sponsored 800 nos of green plants to this event as a token of appreciation for participant








In conjunction with Her World magazine 50th anniversary, staff, along with friends and partners, planted 100nos Hopea Odorata trees at the Metropolitan Park in Kepong on 04-June-2010.

SJH Nursery & Landscaping Sdn. Bhd. are honored to supply these trees to celebrate the golden jubilee

The event, supported by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, was officiated by Tun Jeanne Abdullah, wife of former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

She was joined by Blu Inc Media chief executive officer Datin Azliza Ahmad Tajuddin, Her World deputy editor Sharifah Sakinah Aljunid, Grand Dorsett Subang Hotel general manager Datin Jasmine Abdullah Heng and th Body Shop reprsentative Datuk Simon Foong to kickstart the tree-planting event.

A team from Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s landscaping and urban cleaning control department was also present, in addition to celebrities and representatives from various non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

The affair proved to be a success with the help of even partner The Body Shop, Aiken and Grand Dorsett Subang Hotel.

The tree-planting function is the third instalment of the year-long Her World 50th Anniversary Celebrations, leading up to an anniversary gala event and much-anticipated bumper issue this October.
