1. Putrajaya Botanical Garden, Putrajaya

 A key landmark that stands out at the Putrajaya Botanical Garden is the Moroccan Pavilion, a structure inspired by Moroccan architecture.

The garden is divided into five sections: Explorer's Trail, Palm Hill, Sun Gardens, Floral Gardens, and Lakeside. Based on reviews, most people visit the park for the view, to jog, and to cycle. Bicycles are available for rent.



Admission into the garden is free. 

However, if you want to check out the Visitor Centre, there is an entrance fee of RM3 per person.

2. Perdana Botanical Garden, KL

 
Pack a picnic basket or grab your jogging shoes and head to Perdana Botanical Garden, formerly known as Lake Gardens KL.
It is one of the larger parks in the city centre.


Within the vicinity, you can visit the Orchid Garden and Hibiscus Garden.



Admission into the Perdana Botanical Garden is free

There is a RM1 charge per person for the Orchid and Hisbiscus Gardens on weekends.

3. National Botanical Garden, Shah Alam

The National Botanical Garden at Shah Alam features a variety of different activities, such as flying fox, abseiling, and riding all-terrain vehicles (ATVs).

Although some activities may be put on hold for the time being, you can still enjoy walking and cycling here.



The entrance fee is RM3 each for adults and RM1 for kids.

4. KLCC Park, KL

KLCC Park is a go-to spot for those looking for some fresh air within the city itself. The greenery is designed to surround the Petronas Twin Towers. So if you're done with nature, you can just pop into Suria KLCC for some shopping. :p


It has a children's playground, a wading pool, and a jogging track, with plenty of benches around the park for you to chill at.

5. KL Forest Eco Park (Taman Eko Rimba), KL

Formerly known as Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve, the KL Forest Eco Park serves as a natural green lung for KL city dwellers.

There are several walking trails between 300m and 500m in length, a playground, a campsite, and one of the more popular photo-taking spots, the canopy walk.


The admission fee is RM10 (MyKad holders) and RM40 (non-MyKad holders).
 
Tickets for children six to 12 years old are RM1 and are free for those below six.

6. The Central Park, Desa ParkCity, Kepong

Popular among residents and non-residents, The Central Park at Desa ParkCity is the perfect place to exercise, have a picnic, cycle, and even do your groceries nearby.

It's a dog-friendly park too – so you'll be sure to get some much-needed animal therapy!

7. Bukit Kiara Park, TTDI

No matter your age, Bukit Kiara Park is a popular spot for outdoor activities. Monkeys, monitor lizards, and snakes here are pretty common residents too.

There are plenty of tortoises swimming around in the pond and there's a small stream for little ones to play in.

If you're into hiking or mountain biking, the park has multiple rugged trails of different difficulty levels to explore.

8Taman Tugu, KL

Set in the heart of KL is Taman Tugu, a 66-acre urban forest park filled with multiple trails.

9. Titiwangsa Lake Park (Taman Tasik Titiwangsa), KL

The lake at Titiwangsa Lake Park was originally dug up for tin mining activities. However, it's now been transformed into a popular park for families.

It's also a great spot for a picnic with the city skyline as your backdrop. Bicycles and skates are usually available for rent along with pedal boats on the lake. However, there might be certain restrictions during this time.
